With DIGISTART, LEROY-SOMER offers compact, low-cost, high-performance, communicating electronic starters which are easily integrated in industrial installations and can achieve substantial savings.

DIGISTART offers a standard by-pass up to 220 A, thus considerably reducing the joule losses and saving both the cost of the external contactor and the time spent installing it.

Ideal for upgrading existing installations, DIGISTART can be used to connect motors with a delta connection, replacing star/delta starting to great advantage while retaining the 6 motor power supply cables. This allows the starter size to be at least one rating lower.

DIGISTART’s intuitive browser makes it easy to set ramps or current limits.  The operator has immediate access to preset configurations for applications such as pumping, ventilation, conveying, compression, grinding, etc.

DIGISTART can operate on 200-440 V, 200-575 V or 690 V three-phase supplies. It can control both slipring motors and motors wired in parallel equally well.
Fieldbus modules: Modbus RTU, DeviceNet, Profibus or USB are available, allowing integration in local area networks.

DIGISTART offers the latest electronic control technologies: starting and stopping that adapt to the load automatically, automatic parameter optimisation by gradually learning the types of start. It also has a special deceleration curve for pumping applications which derives from more than 15 years of LEROY-SOMER’s experience and expertise.
