Proactively supports the and drives the Continuous Improvement policies, practices, and procedures at the given Sites. This would include Lean tools and Techniques implementation, process improvement strategies, productivity initiatives and other programs leading to significant improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and overall customer satisfaction.
Proactively supports Plants Lean strategies and execution/monitoring methodologies for the Continuous Improvement portion of the Strategic Business Plan, including growth, cost out and cultural change plans. Supports improvement strategies to business profit plan for delivery, cost, and quality improvement impact.
Be a ‘Go-to’ Point of support for the Plant leadership teams, support business strategy development and operational execution of business plans. Helps plants to create the future state, manufacturing strategies and cross-functional processes
Provides Training and Coaching to ensure proactive deployment of the Nidec Operational Excellence Vision tools, programs, and initiatives to support the business strategies and plans.
with functional and business leaders for the individual BuS as well as counterparts at other Nidec BuS Sites to ensure alignment with the Operational Excellence Deployment Model approach to deploy Nidec Operational Excellence Vision.
Support Plant Managers on organizational design and development of a Daily Management System to support and sustain Operational Excellence
Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Workshops, Projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
Drives the change management necessary to implement effective programs.
Partner with the PLANT Managers to assess, select and develop talent, as well as mentoring and assisting individuals.
Conducts Nidec Operational Excellence Vision Self-assessments and identify performance gaps. Works through the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
Track and present key metrics as assigned
