Activities:
Your main tasks will be:
Project management for the design of rotating electrical machines. You determine the constraints, the weaknesses, the strengths, and assess their feasibility and profitability.
You build the load plan with the teams, monitor, and manage the allocation of resources in collaboration with the department leaders.
Consider all the projects aspects: procurement, manufacturing, quality, process etc.
Take the necessary actions to meet deadlines.
You manage transversal resources (internal EPGE) or subcontractors for specific missions (external).
Engaging with customers
You rely on the NPD processes
Use internal tools (Eden, Mden, (LV + MHV))
Ensure that choices are formalized, and projects are documented for project transfer to production.
Define and track product cost with cross-functional services
You participate in the creation of business cases
Business trips to be planned on our site of Orléans or Angouleme depending on your home, and abroad if necessary.
Profil:
Electrical engineering or mechanical engineer or equivalent masters degree.
Knowledge in the development of rotating electrical machines (10 years of experience)
Good global electrical, mechanical, thermal and insulation systems knowledge
Demonstrated experience in technical project management and team management.
Knows how to motivate teams (technology guru) and promote the innovation spirit.
Teamwork and collaboration.
Technical proposal strength during project negotiation with client
Creativity, tenacity, initiative, and organization are essential.
Good level of spoken and written English required.
